During the fourth week of January, PIT Counts are conducted annually across the nation and are designed to collect data on the number of individuals and families experiencing homelessness on any given nights. New Bedford conducts a census on the city's Homeless unsheltered, sheltered and unaccompanied youth populations. 

We need you to help! We are looking for 50+ volunteers to help us conduct our annual Point-In-Time Count as well as distribute necessary items to our homeless neighbors. To volunteer for the Point-in-Time Count, please click on the here to sign up. 

All volunteers will need to attend a one hour mandatory training session at Positive Action Against Chemical Addiction (PAACA) located at 360 Coggeshall Street, New Bedford at 5:00 pm for Sheltered Count training, and 6:00 pm for unsheltered count training on January 19th.
